John's Sporting Goods Fishing Guide account deletion
For your security, account deletion requires signed-in account ownership verification. The public URL explains the process, but it cannot delete an account by itself.
Signed-in deletion
- Open the John's Sporting Goods Fishing Guide app.
- Sign in to the account you want deleted.
- Open Settings and choose Delete Account when available.
The app uses the secure authenticated endpoint DELETE /api/v1/account. This endpoint requires your active login token and cannot delete another user's account.
Cannot access the app?
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account. We will verify account ownership before processing deletion.
What is deleted
- Account email, login credentials, API keys, and refresh tokens.
- Your saved waypoints, trip plans, visit logs, waypoint shares, chat sessions, and optional visit photos.
- Analytics records are disconnected from your user account where retained for aggregate service reliability.
Timing
Authenticated in-app deletion is processed immediately. Email requests are normally processed within 30 days after account ownership is verified.
